🥪 The Original Vegan Sausage Melt
Ingredients
- Sourdough bread slices
- Marinara sauce
- Follow Your Heart Mozzarella Slices
- Beyond Sausage Hot Italian Links
- Vegan mayo
- Vegan butter spread
Directions
- Spread vegan butter on the outside of each bread slice.
- On the inside of each slice, spread a thin layer of vegan mayo.
- Slice Beyond Sausage into thin coins (about 1–2 links per sandwich).
Cook in a skillet with a bit of oil until golden and crispy (about 3–4 minutes per side). - Add a slice of Follow Your Heart Mozzarella to one bread slice.
Place cooked sausage on top. - Drizzle marinara sauce over sausage.
- Top with second slice of bread and grill on pan until golden brown on each side. Enjoy!
