🥄 Vegan Egg Substitute (Flax Egg)

Ingredients

  1. 2.5 tablespoons water
  2. 1 tablespoon flax seed meal (freshly ground is ideal)

Directions

  1. Combine water and flax meal in a small bowl or container.
  2. Let sit for 10–15 minutes until it thickens to an egg-like consistency.
  3. Use as an egg replacement in your favorite recipes — 1 flax egg = 1 egg.

A great egg “replacer” for your baking and cooking needs!
Scale as needed for recipes calling for more than 1 egg.
